Jenny was an interior designer, trained in New York and London. Aari was a lawyer at a large international law firm. That all changed when Jenny was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and was placed on a Gluten Free diet. We tasted virtually every cookie in the store, but most contained ingredients we had never heard of, and more importantly, they didn’t really taste like cookies.
One evening, as we munched on some of Jenny’s homemade macaroons and wondered if Jenny would ever find tasty treats again, a light bulb went off. These macaroons are gluten free, all natural, have no unusual or substitute ingredients, and taste great. We thought, why not share them with everyone? And thus, Cocolicious and Co. was born!
